A person in a red jacket walking on a trail in a forest with tall trees and sunlight streaming through the branches.

Neurodiversity-affirming therapy for children, teens, adults, and families.

Compassionate, evidence-informed therapy that helps you better understand yourself, your child, and your relationships.

A place to feel understood.

Welcome to Redwood.

Just as every tree has its own conditions for growth, every person has their own unique strengths, needs, and way of experiencing the world. When we struggle, it's often not because something is wrong with us, but because we've been trying to grow in environments that weren't designed with our needs in mind.

Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, my hope is that you'll find something different here: a space grounded in curiosity, compassion, and genuine understanding.

Healing begins with understanding. Together, we'll explore what has shaped your experiences, honor what makes you uniquely you, and build on your strengths to help you thrive.

Why Redwood?

“To walk in a redwood forest is to enter nature’s cathedral.”

-Unknown

There is something special about standing among redwood trees. They invite us to slow down, take a deep breath, and feel a little more grounded. Their strength doesn't come from standing alone, but from growing together with interconnected root systems that support and protect one another.

For me, the redwood has become a meaningful symbol of the kind of therapy I hope to provide. Just as every plant has its own conditions for growth, every person has their own unique strengths, needs, and way of experiencing the world. Therapy isn't about becoming someone else. It's about discovering what helps you thrive.

I believe healing begins in relationships where we feel safe enough to be fully ourselves. Like a redwood forest, therapy can become a place of steadiness, curiosity, connection, and growth—a place where you feel supported as you better understand yourself, your child, or your family.

Whether you're navigating neurodivergence, anxiety, OCD, trauma, parenting, or life's many transitions, my hope is that Redwood is a place where you feel welcomed, understood, and empowered to grow in ways that honor your unique strengths and needs.

Rooted in Our Values

CURIOSITY

We believe in approaching each of our clients with curiosity. Our clinicians have worked with many clients over the years and have yet to meet a person who is exactly the same as another. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to something as personal as the therapy process.

SAFETY

Our #1 priority in the services we provide is safety and trust in your therapist and the therapy environment. We spend time getting to know our clients, earning their trust, and providing an environment of safety and security.

COMPASSION

Not only are we passionate about the work that we do, we deeply care about our clients, too. We believe just about everyone is doing their best with the tools and knowledge that they have and that we have all been dealt different hands in life. We love providing a compassionate space for others to tell their stories, learn, heal, and grow.

UNDERSTANDING

We want to help you not only have a safe space to feel accepted, but to also gain insight into your feelings and experiences. We believe knowledge is power and enjoy empowering our clients with greater understanding of their experiences.
